Reception’s first few weeks

The Reception children have had such a wonderful first few weeks at school. They have baked, built, got messy, listened to stories, climbed, painted, done yoga, done Forest School and so much more! They have all settled in wonderfully and we are loving having them in school!

You’ve Got A Friend In Me

Our Reception children have made some brilliant friendships this year so we wanted to express this through a performance. Enjoy! We hope everybody has a fantastic summer!

Waterfight!

What better way is there to cool down on the hottest day on record than… WATERFIGHT! We all had such an amazing time and enjoyed some ice lollies afterwards.

The Lake District Trip

Everyone has had such a wonderful day in the sunshine today. The classes all did slightly different activities but some of these included scavenger hunts, sketching, making fairies, paddling, bark rubbing and so much more!

Sports Reach Assembly

We had our Sports Reach assembly this morning. Sooty came to tell us all about the program.

Sports Day 2022

We have had a wonderful Sports Day and it was lovely to welcome back spectators this year. The sunshine stayed out for us and everyone tried so hard. You should all be very proud of yourselves! Also a massive well done and congratulations to Reds who were the overall champions!

Survival Skills

Yesterday, we were lucky enough to have Adam Bateman come in to do some army survival training with each class. Thanks so much Adam!

Heaves Farm 2022

We all had a fantastic time at Heaves Farm today. We did too many things to list but some of these things were watching sheepdog herding, sheep shearing, holding chicks, meeting dogs and pretending to help birth a lamb, looking at the milking equipment, milking wooden cows, looking at different types of grain and feed and SO much more! This is just a selection of the photos and more will be uploaded at the end of the week.

Rugby Taster Session

Last week, Liam came in to do some Rugby taster sessions with Yr R, 1 & 2. They were taught how to get the ball off other people, how to push through other players and how to dive over the line. It was great fun!
