Oak Class have been making coconut barfi, listening to the Rama and Sita story, role play in the home corner with diva lights and pretty jewellery, independently making character puppets in the craft area, lantern making and using our senses to explore different spices.
Children from Chestnut and Oak Classes have been enjoying making bird feeders and hanging them in our school grounds during their Forest School afternoon.
Oak Class and Chestnut Class had a wonderful Christmas party together where there was a lot of dancing and eating party food. We even got a present from Father Christmas!
Oak Class had a very exciting day at South Lakes Safari Zoo. We loved our first ride on a coach with school and enjoyed seeing lots of different animals and meeting Santa. We especially loved feeding the giraffes and seeing the reindeer.
During this week’s forest school activity, Chestnut Class and Oak Class children collected sticks and created characters from the book ‘The Rainbow Fish’.
