We are a small village school with around 110 children on roll and four classes.  We are committed to developing our children in all sorts of ways, not just academically.  We have school Rights and Responsibilities rather than school rules, we have daily Global Awareness sessions to develop the children’s understanding of the world around them.  We focus on developing particular skills and attributes among all of our children under the name of Planet Inspiration – these are attributes that will help them to be brilliant lifelong learners.   We are a Forest School and are passionate about learning outdoors and developing our children’s knowledge and love of nature using our outdoor classroom and nature trail.   We teach the children about British Values and global values which fit with our own values as a school.  We develop the children’s ability to question, discuss and evaluate all sorts of ideas and concepts through Philosophy for Children.  As we are committed to developing every child to their full potential, we offer a very wide range of extra-curricular clubs to develop particular interests and talents.  Above all, we aim to make school a stimulating and dynamic place where children feel safe to have a Growth Mindset, take risks and really flourish.
