Early Birds & Night Owls

We run our own breakfast and after school clubs in school. These are run by our Club leader, Sophie Walker and assisted by other school staff. The clubs are fun, relaxing and creative with a wide range of activities to suit all times of year, weather and children’s individual interests. Activities include: sports, board games, craft, science, forest schools, movie night, reading, small world, baking, gardening and many more. The clubs are based mainly in our school hall but also outdoors and in our outside classroom, Cedar Lodge.

Early Birds Breakfast Club

This runs from 7:45am until the start of school each morning. Children have a choice of food for breakfast and lots of quiet activities to start the day in a calm purposeful atmosphere.

Night Owls After School Club

This runs from the end of school (or after extra-curricular clubs if your child attends those) until 5:30pm. Children have a choice of snack and are engaged in all sorts of activities indoors and out using our beautiful grounds, garden, outside classroom, hall and cookery room. Activities are planned to ensure variety and are based on themes and the children’s own interests.

We use Scopay for parents to book sessions and pay.

This week at Night Owls we have made a giant snake, had a dance and had some under the sea adventures with the cogs.

A few photos of our spring activities. We have been looking for frogs and playing some football in the sunshine.

A few of the Easter activities we got up to. We made Easter nests and did an Easter egg competition. The weather even held up long enough for us to do an Easter egg hunt!

A few photos from our first 2 weeks back in school. Looks like great fun!
