Classes

We have 4 classes in school: Oak Class, Chestnut Class, Sycamore Class and Beech Class.  Please click on classes below to see what we have been learning. Oak Class has all of the Reception children and often a few Year 1 children too.  Chestnut Class has all of the Year 2 children and the rest of the Year 1 children.  Sycamore Class has all of the Year 3 and 4 children and Beech Class has all of the Year 5 and 6 children.

Oak and Chestnut Classes often work together in the afternoons on Theme activities or Forest Schools.  All of the classes mix together sometimes for Theme Days where the children work in their house groups.

The children are all split into 4 house groups across school: red, blue, yellow and green. They often work in these groups in class and on Theme days and sports days

All Year 6 children have a Reception Class buddy.  The Year 6 children help their buddy to settle into school and are always there for them throughout the year for advice.
