Music Lessons

We have private music tuition available in school on guitar with a guitar teacher, Pete Smith.  Many children learn and sometimes play mini concerts for the whole school.  If your child has an interest in learning a particular instrument, we can sometimes arrange for a tutor to come into school.

We sometimes buy into Lancashire Music Service so that all children can learn an instrument as a class.  Recently, our Year 5 and 6 children have learned clarinet, our Year 3 and 4 children have learned ukulele and our Y1 and 2 children have learned recorder.  Our Reception children play lots of music with untuned percussion, both actual instruments and other objects such as pots and pans!
