Road Safety and Parking

Road safety is obviously essential around primary schools.  We aim to make the area around our school gates as safe as possible by asking parents and grandparents not to park closer to school than the turn off on Bridge Road.  Where possible we ask that children walk to school or walk from the green so that we reduce congestion.  We ask that all parents/ carers park safely and considerately around the area to keep everyone safe and happy. The children learn all about road safety and cycle safety in school and they are passionate about encouraging everyone to be safe on the roads.  Our School Council held a competition for road safety posters aimed at parents, motorists and pedestrians and these are some of the entries:
