Oak and Chestnut Classes had their first Forest School session together today. They had to create lots of different shapes using natural objects. They were fab, and the Year 1s and 2s did a great job of looking after the new children and showing them the right things to do. We had a fantastic time!
The weather wasn’t on their side but this didn’t dampen Chestnut Class’ spirits as they took on loads of new challenges this week. They had the opportunity to do some rock climbing, boating and various teamwork challenges. A great day was had by all!
Yesterday, we were very lucky to welcome our very own gold medalist, Stuart Robinson into assembly. Stuart won gold in the wheelchair rugby in Tokyo this summer. He spoke to us about how we can reach our goals if we put the time and effort in. He really is an inspiration to us all!
