Chestnut Class have spent the last few weeks making sculpture boats inspired by their learning on Ernest Shackleton.

Chestnut Class have spent the last few weeks making sculpture boats inspired by their learning on Ernest Shackleton.







Year 1 explored the school grounds, collecting leaves and identifying which trees they came from.


Year 1 have been looking at the work of Paul Klee and have used their painting skills to recreate his style.


Chestnut Class had a fantastic day out at Manchester Airport. They really enjoyed learning about different jobs at the airport and pretending to be the pilot!



Children from Chestnut and Oak Classes have been enjoying making bird feeders and hanging them in our school grounds during their Forest School afternoon.





Oak Class and Chestnut Class had a wonderful Christmas party together where there was a lot of dancing and eating party food. We even got a present from Father Christmas!


During this week’s forest school activity, Chestnut Class and Oak Class children collected sticks and created characters from the book ‘The Rainbow Fish’.






Chestnut Class helped Oak Class to explore our school grounds during their forest school activity where they hid, found and paired wellies.
