Easter Egg Hunt
For Forest School today the children had to find the chicks and eggs hidden around our outside area. They had to find the right numbers on their sheet and tick them off as they found them. We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!

Debbie from NISCU came in this morning to do an Easter assembly. We learnt about why Christians celebrate Easter and did some singing.
Oak Class went on a Numicon egg hunt yesterday. It was great fun and everyone was brilliant at finding the other half of their egg.
Miss Molloy’s Phonics group made the most of the sunshine this week. They had to shoot the tricky words with water pistols. They may have got Miss Molloy a little bit as well!
The whole school had a wonderful day dressed up as pirates and taking part in lots of different activities. We created pirate finger puppets, created and raced our own boats, made treasure maps, practised walking the plank, sang sea shanties, built dens and cooked pirate food.
We have been able to start up our paired reading in school again this term. Every other Tuesday afternoon, Sycamore read with Oak Class and Beech Class read with Chestnut Class. It has been lovely to see everyone together!
We all wore yellow and blue to raise money for Ukraine. It was lovely to see the support from everyone!
Today in Forest School the children had a go at making boats with sticks, leaves and string. They looked great!
We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day. There were some amazing costumes and it was lovely to see them all!
Oak Class had a wonderful time celebrating Pancake Day on Tuesday. They made and ate pancakes, learnt a pancake song, did a pancake dance and did some pancake races with a tennis racket (frying pan) and a bean bag (pancake). What a great day!
