As it was the last after school club of the year, the children were taken out to the firepit for hot chocolate, biscuits and mince pies. It was such a lovely way to finish the year!

It was great to be able to have an outdoor concert with some parents this year. We had a lovely time and hope the audience did too!

Sycamore Class have been learning about Christingles in RE this half term. We have learnt about what each part of a Christingle represents to Christians and created our own.

Sycamore Class created different printing blocks. They used string to create interesting patterns and foam to represent the cross-sectional view of an apple.

They used their printing blocks to create repeating patterns.

Sycamore Class have enjoyed learning about Hinduism this half term and we concluded this learning by having a day focused on Diwali. We took part in many activities including baking coconut squares, acting out The Ramayana and creating Rangoli patterns and Diva lamps.

Sycamore Class have been researching countries in Europe. We have been looking at human and physical features in these countries and the foods that are produced there. We researched popular meals and snacks from different countries and recreated them using paper, card and other materials.

On 4th October 2021, it was great to be able to play a football match against another school again. There were some great victories for both teams!
