Oak Class have continued their Christmas activities with scavenger hunts, hot chocolate and their Christmas party.

Year 1 and 2 have had a very Christmassy time doing Christmas scavenger hunts, drinking hot chocolate, making Christmas crafts and partying!

Oak Class have been having lots of Christmas fun. We have made Rudolph cakes, been busy wrapping presents in our toy workshop, played with glittery ice and done lots of other sparkly craft! Christmas has definitely landed in Oak Class!Â

Oak and Chestnut Classes enjoyed wearing their antlers and running round the track to raise money for St John’s Hospice!

In the run up to Christmas we have been taking part in many activities. We especially enjoyed making our melted snowman biscuits – and eating them!

Sycamore Class enjoyed designing and creating wells and developed lots of skills including using a glue gun, measuring, sawing and decision making.

Sycamore Class created colourful African pots as part of our theme topic (Journeys). They formed a thumb pot to start with and then added coils on top. Using their hands and a range of tools, they created their planned designs and added different textures. Once dry, they painted on top. Well done.

Our Year 1 and Year 2 children have been making (and eating!) jelly and then writing instructions. We think they have done an amazing job with their writing.
