Snow day!

Oak Class have had a wonderful day in the snow today! We spent the first half of the morning getting all our snuggly clothes on and going outside to make snow sculptures and writing in the snow with paint brushes. After that we came in and warmed up with some hot chocolate and marshmallows and watched The Snowman. We had so much fun!

Today, Chestnut Class went out to collect lots of different sized sticks. They then used loom bands, glittery pipe cleaners, feathers, glitter and sequins to decorate them to make them look like sparklers. We had great fun and made lots of mess!

Diwali

This week in Oak Class we have been celebrating and learning about Diwali. We have dressed up in traditional Indian dress, danced to Diwali music, watched videos of fireworks, made coconut barfi, done firework art and even lit our classroom up with fairy lights. We have had a wonderful week!

Beech Class loved their day out at Borwick Hall. They took part in a range of activities including the low ropes course, the crate stacking challenge and canoeing. They learnt and used lots of different skills, such as independence, perseverance, problem solving and team work. Everyone showed amazing bravery and risk-taking, pushing themselves to achieve new things. Well done Beech Class!
