Oak Class have had a wonderful day in the snow today! We spent the first half of the morning getting all our snuggly clothes on and going outside to make snow sculptures and writing in the snow with paint brushes. After that we came in and warmed up with some hot chocolate and marshmallows and watched The Snowman. We had so much fun!
Chestnut Class have been learning all about why we mark Remembrance Day with poppies. They have done lots of writing and craft activities around poppies and the customs around Remembrance Day.
Today, Chestnut Class went out to collect lots of different sized sticks. They then used loom bands, glittery pipe cleaners, feathers, glitter and sequins to decorate them to make them look like sparklers. We had great fun and made lots of mess!
