Beech Class had a wonderful day on Friday doing some dancing, beatboxing and lots of other movement activities. We put on a wonderful performance at the end of the day!
Some photos from Yasmien’s visit last week. We had so much fun making chapatis, dancing, making Arabic cards and dressing up.
Beech class made the most of the sunshine today, using classification keys to identify different plants in the garden. They are enjoying their current science topic- living things, evolution and inheritance.
Beech Class enjoyed learning more about Islam with their workshop with Yasmien. We enjoyed copying Arabic writing, making and eating chapatis and dressing up in traditional clothes. We also enjoyed talking more to Yasmien and asking questions about Islam.

Children from Beech Class represented school today in a rearranged dodgeball competition at Carnforth High School. Both teams (the NK Piranhas and the NK Tigers) played really well. For some children it was the first time they had played for a school team.
The NK Piranhas finished in 3rd place overall so collected bronze medals.
One of our players was awarded ‘Player Of The Tournament’ for showing exceptional sportsmanship and honesty. He collected an individual trophy. Well done to everyone involved.
