National Environment Day Poems

It was National Environment Day on Wednesday so, in Beech Class, we read “The Lost Words” by Robert MacFarlane. It is a beautiful book full of “spells” about creatures and plants in the natural world.  We analysed the spells and noticed the use of adjectival phrases, similes, metaphors and rhythms. We wrote our own “spells” about creatures and plants that we value in our world.

Sycamore Class Assembly

Sycamore Class performed a fantastic assembly about the Romans in Britain. They did a wonderful job learning their lines and singing two songs.
