Chestnut Class experienced a campfire, hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and campfire songs to inspire our writing.

Reception and Year 1 enjoyed learning how to ride balance bikes.

Chestnut Class had a fantastic visit to Sealife in Manchester.

Shark Biscuits

Chesnut Class have made shark biscuits after making fact files about sharks.

Fire Fighters

The fire service came to talk to Chestnut Class about staying safe and some of us even managed to dress up.

Creepy Crawlies!

Oak and Chestnut Class spent an afternoon with John- The Creepy Crawly Man! He brought in a hissing cockroach, a snail, a stick insect and a snake called Monty! Everyone had a great time handling the creatures and asking lots of great questions!

Gymnastics

Chestnut Class have been learning about our sea theme through P.E.

Santa

Chestnut Class enjoyed a visit from Santa. He brought a Christmas gift for everyone.

Chestnut Class have been measuring and sawing as they learnt about wheels and axles to make fire engines.

Elf Run

Chestnut Class have enjoyed running in the Elf Run to raise money for St. John’s Hospice.
