Beech Class had a great time on our Lakes Trip doing scavenger hunts, exploring Wray Castle and Brockholes and playing on the adventure playground.
Beech Class enjoyed a workshop learning about roles in the NHS. This gave them an insight into all the various roles within the NHS and who helps an individual on their journey when they need NHS support for illness or injury. They worked collaboratively to explore ideas and learned a great deal about health and social care and maybe options for jobs in the future!
Sycamore class and some Year 5’s in Beech class took part in the Salt Ayre Sports Festival. We had the opportunity to try a range of sports including athletics, tri-golf, kwik cricket and tag rugby. The sun was shining and we all had a fantastic day!
Beech Class children worked brilliantly to get rid of weeds. They had to really put some muscle into digging and persevered, working as a team to tackle some big jobs. Well done Beech Class, our garden is now much more under control and ready for some new planting.
Beech Class went outside to use hoops to demonstrate the way blood moves around the body.
Beech Class demonstrated the skills they had learnt with Scott Wilcock, with some of the younger children.
