Oak and Chestnut class have been busy this afternoon (16th April) learning about conserving water and why water is so important to our planet. Their challenge was to work as a team to move as much water from one container to another container using only a spoon. The challenge was trying to conserve as much as possible!

Sycamore Class thought about leadership and trust during our RE lesson today. We took turns leading our talk partners, who had their eyes closed, safely through other people and around cones. We then discussed what qualities our talk partners had that made us trust them to keep us safe.

As part of our English topic on Handa’s Surprise, Oak Class had the opportunity to feel, smell and taste lots of different exotic fruits. Everyone was really brave and tried fruits they had never tried before. The most surprising was the passion fruit!

Beech Class were feeling very festive as they decorated their biscuits…if you’re wondering why you didn’t get to see them, they didn’t last long!

We worked in teams to find the hidden objects all around the Winter wonderland, and our school grounds.

Beech Class ran a mile to raise money for St. John’s Hospice wearing their fetching antlers! It’s not too late to send in a donation if you would like to contribute to our fundraising for the Hospice.
