Making 7

In Oak Class this week we have been looking at the number 7 and the different ways that we can make it. We have done this with Numicon and paint. We have also used tens frames, the numeral and cubes to represent it.

The first Forest School session of 2022!

Today in our Forest School session we went for an explore to spot signs of winter. We noticed that the trees were bare, the leaves on the floor had turned brown and that the weather was very chilly! We then used natural objects to create winter pictures.

After School Club

As it was the last after school club of the year, the children were taken out to the firepit for hot chocolate, biscuits and mince pies. It was such a lovely way to finish the year!

KS1 Carol Concert

Oak and Chestnut Classes really enjoyed singing our play songs for the parents this week. It was lovely to be able to gather together outside!

It was great to be able to have an outdoor concert with some parents this year. We had a lovely time and hope the audience did too!

Oak Class Zoo Trip

Oak Class had a wonderful time on their trip to the zoo yesterday. We saw loads of different animals, had a play on the play park, had a lovely Christmas lunch, fed the reindeers and met Santa who gave us all a brilliant zoo themed present! What a way to finish the term!
