Beech Class have been making papier mache sea creature sculptures linked with World Oceans Day.

Beech Class created our own Vincent Scarpace and Maggie Hambling paintings leading to our cushion designs.





Chestnut Class learned about primary colours and created paintings in the style of Mondrian.



In textiles, Beech Class used tie dye and batik to create their fabric to sew together for their cushions.




Beech Class explored the colour wheel, complementary and analogous colours and used this knowledge to create their versions of a Wassily Kandinsky abstract painting.



Sycamore Class have been learning new watercolour painting techniques to recreate Canaletto’s paintings of Venice.












Some of our KS2 school councilors had a great team building experience with other schools at Bleasdale School.





Chestnut Class had a wonderful visit to Fleetwood where they learnt about Victorian seaside holidays.
