As part of their study of Ancient Greeks, Beech Class learned about Greek pots and depicted their own with paint and pen and ink ahead of making their own clay pots.







In learning about the Ancient Greeks, Beech Class studied Greek theatre and learned about the masks that were worn by the players to convey tragedies and comedies. They used sculpture techniques with card to create their masks.


Beech Class explored many printing techniques. These included screen printing, relief printing imitating Andy Warhol’s work and printing from acetate.





Sycamore Class were inspired by Henri Matisse for their collage backgrounds. They then drew portraits of themselves in ink.
Sycamore Class have been learning about volcanoes in theme and used their collage skills to create volcano collages.
Chestnut Class created self-portraits using photographs of themselves and drawings of the mirror image of their faces.
