Santa
Chestnut Class enjoyed a visit from Santa. He brought a Christmas gift for everyone.

Chestnut Class have been measuring and sawing as they learnt about wheels and axles to make fire engines.

Our assembly theme this week has been ‘Giving Not Getting’. Thank you to all those people who have donated items to Lancaster and District Homeless Action Service.
Oak Class had a fantastic trip to Wildlife Oasis yesterday. We had the opportunity to handle some animals, make Christmas crackers for the meerkats, watch the arctic foxes and the Scottish wild cats being fed Christmas themed treats, had a lovely buffet and met Santa and then we finished the day off by exploring the indoor zoo and playing some of the animal themed games outside.
Sycamore Class have enjoyed using clay to make our own sarcophagus to link in with our learning on Ancient Egypt.

For their D&T project this term, Sycamore Class created pulleys to make Santa pop up and down a chimney.

Oak Class had a great time doing the Elf Run today! Don’t forget to get your sponsors in for St John’s Hospice!
