Beech and Sycamore Classes enjoyed our STEM performance and workshops about engineering. We loved the challenges and drama during the performance and worked as teams to create marshmallow and spaghetti towers.

Our whole school enjoyed taking part in different activities based on different continents of the world to introduce our theme ‘Global Citizens’.

Sycamore Class designed and sewed finger puppets for our design and technology unit this term.

Sycamore Class had a wonderful afternoon with Nick from Junior STEM experimenting with Lego and a motor. We created our own unique lions and coded them to move.

Sycamore Class enjoyed making a paper mosque, exploring lots of different clothing and making treats using dates.

Sycamore Class enjoyed our visit to Lancaster Castle to learn about crime and punishment through history. We also enjoyed our visit to the Priory in the afternoon, linking with our learning about Christianity. We were very lucky and got to travel by train to get to and from Lancaster.
